These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Kithwellp website and the workshop services we offer at 142 Charoen Krung Road, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500, Thailand. By submitting an enquiry or bringing a timepiece to our workshop, you agree to the terms set out below.

These terms are written plainly. If anything is unclear, please ask us before leaving your watch for service.

1. Scope of Services

Kithwellp offers watch repair and restoration services as described on this website. Our three principal services are:

• Mechanical Movement Service
• Dial, Hands & Crystal Restoration
• Heritage Timepiece Full Restoration

The specific scope of work for any individual timepiece is agreed with the client before work begins. No service is started without your explicit approval of the quoted scope and cost.

2. Estimates and Pricing

Published prices represent starting rates for standard work within each service category. The final cost may differ if additional parts, labour, or complexity are identified during the initial inspection.

We will communicate any deviation from the original estimate before proceeding. You may decline additional work at any point, in which case the timepiece will be returned to you in its current state and any applicable inspection fee will apply.

Prices are quoted in Thai Baht and are inclusive of VAT where applicable under Thai law.

3. Turnaround Times

Turnaround times are estimates, not fixed commitments. They depend on the complexity of the work, parts availability, and workshop volume at the time of intake. We discuss realistic timeframes openly at the outset and keep you informed if circumstances change.

Kithwellp is not liable for delays caused by factors outside our direct control, including delays in sourcing period-correct or specialist parts.

4. Client Responsibilities

When leaving a timepiece with us, you confirm that:

• You are the owner of the watch, or have the owner's authority to authorise repair.
• You have provided accurate information about the piece's known history and condition.
• You will collect the watch within 60 days of notification that work is complete, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed.

Watches not collected within 90 days of completion notice may be subject to storage fees. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before any such fees apply.

5. Parts and Materials

Where original parts are unavailable or prohibitively costly, we will discuss alternatives with you before proceeding. We use materials that are sympathetic to the original design and appropriate to the age and character of the piece.

For Heritage Timepiece Full Restorations, each sourcing decision is documented and shared with you as part of the service record.

6. Post-Service Period

We stand behind our workmanship. If a fault attributable directly to our service work is identified within 12 months of collection, we will assess and address it at no additional charge.

This does not cover faults arising from accidental damage, water ingress beyond the rated resistance of the case, misuse, or work carried out by another party after leaving our workshop.

7. Liability

We take every care with the watches in our possession. In the unlikely event of loss or damage attributable to our negligence, our liability is limited to the fair market value of the timepiece as agreed between both parties.

We strongly recommend that clients arrange appropriate insurance for high-value pieces prior to leaving them in our care. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or conditions not disclosed at intake.

8. Website Use

The content on this website is provided for information only. While we take care to keep it accurate, we do not warrant that all details are complete or current at any given time. We reserve the right to update or withdraw content without notice.

This website is not intended to be used as the primary channel for urgent or time-sensitive communications. Please telephone us directly for anything requiring a prompt response.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from the use of our services or this website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. For service engagements, the terms in effect at the time of intake apply.
